SIGN DESIGN: Appleby Mansion and Governor Hicks

Once home to an important Civil War-era governor of Maryland, Appleby Mansion had fallen into disrepair before its recent purchase by Dorchester County. With funding from the National Trust for Historic Preservation, county officials hired me to design a 24" x 36" interpretative sign that aims to help spread the word among residents and visitors about the importance of Appleby and perhaps spark public interest in seeing the property restored.
